3. User Obligations

3.1 Account Registration

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized account access
  • Update your information as necessary

3.2 Package Requirements

  • Ensure packages are properly packed and labeled
  • Provide accurate package descriptions
  • Comply with size and weight restrictions
  • Ensure recipient contact information is correct

3.3 Payment Obligations

  • Pay all applicable fees before or upon delivery
  • Provide valid payment information
  • Pay additional charges for special services
  • Pay storage fees for unclaimed packages

4. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from our delivery service:

  • Explosives, firearms, and ammunition
  • Flammable liquids and gases
  • Toxic and corrosive substances
  • Radioactive materials
  • Sharp objects without proper packaging

4.2 Illegal Items

  • Narcotics and controlled substances
  • Counterfeit goods and pirated materials
  • Stolen property
  • Items violating Nigerian laws

4.3 Restricted Items

  • Perishable goods without prior arrangement
  • Live animals and plants
  • Cash and negotiable instruments

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Service Fees

  • Delivery fees are calculated based on distance, weight, and service type
  • Prices are quoted in Nigerian Naira (NGN)
  • Additional charges may apply for special handling
  • Fuel surcharges may be added based on market conditions

5.2 Payment Methods

  • Cash on delivery (COD)

6. Delivery Terms

6.2 Delivery Attempts

  • Three delivery attempts will be made
  • Recipients will be notified before each attempt
  • Packages will be held at our facility after failed attempts
  • Storage fees apply after 7 days

6.3 Proof of Delivery

  • Digital signature capture
  • Photo confirmation when required
  • SMS and email notifications

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Liability Limitations

  • Our liability is limited to the declared value of the package
  • Maximum liability is ₦500,000 per package unless additional insurance is purchased
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
  • Liability excludes damages from prohibited or restricted items

7.2 Insurance Coverage

  • Basic insurance is included for all deliveries
  • Additional insurance is available for high-value items
  • Claims must be filed within 30 days of delivery
  • Proof of value is required for insurance claims

7.3 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters and severe weather
  • Government actions and regulations
  • Labor strikes and transportation disruptions
  • Acts of terrorism or civil unrest

8. Claims and Complaints

8.1 Filing Claims

  • Claims must be filed within 30 days of the incident
  • Provide detailed description and supporting documentation
  • Include photos of damaged items when applicable
  • Retain original packaging for inspection

8.2 Investigation Process

  • We will investigate all claims within 14 business days
  • Additional documentation may be requested
  • On-site inspections may be conducted when necessary
  • You will be notified of the investigation outcome

8.3 Resolution

  • Valid claims will be settled within 30 days
  • Compensation may include repair, replacement, or monetary settlement
  • Disputed claims may be subject to arbitration
  • Legal action must be initiated within 1 year of the incident

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship:

  • With 30 days written notice for corporate accounts
  • Immediately for violation of these Terms
  • For non-payment of outstanding fees
  • For fraudulent or illegal activities

9.1 Effect of Termination

  • Outstanding deliveries will be completed
  • All fees must be paid before termination
  • Account access will be suspended
  • Data retention policies will apply
